Area Q and the western basalt outcrop Gallery

The western basalt outcrop is one of the most densely occupied outskirts of Taşlı Geçit. Thanks to the ortophotogrammetric aerial images, we reconstructed several houses located all around the foot of the outcrop. Moreover in 2010, we opened a small excavation area, named Q, to better understand the type and function of the buildings as well as their chronology. The investigation allowed to identify part of a large building dating to the MB IB.
