Transportation
The area of Berlin where the Freie Universitaet and Henry Ford Bau is situated is called Dahlem (district of Zehlendorf-Steglitz, south-western part of Berlin / see map)

It can easily be reached by underground railway U1 (direction Krumme Lanke); get off at Thielplatz (5 min. walking distance to Henry-Ford-Bau) or by bus 111 (direction of Dahlem, Am Waldfriedhof); bus stops right in front of the building.
Kindly note that parking possibilities in the near surroundings of the Henry Ford building are limited.


Access to venue by car
from Hannover, Frankfurt und München:
After reaching Berlin city limits leave the highway immediately choosing gateway Zehlendorf and drive along Potsdamer Chaussee/Straße and Clayallee to Garystraße.

from Hamburg:
Ride along highway Hamburg - Berlin up to gateway Berlin-Heiligensee, drive on in the direction of Heiligensee resp. Tegel Airport using the inner city highway up to the gateway of Hohenzollerndamm, then drive along Hohenzollerndamm, Clayallee to Garystraße


Access to venue from airport
from Tegel Airport:
Take the airport shuttle bus X9 or bus 109 (direction of Hertzallee/Zoologischer Garten) to Jakob-Kaiser-Platz and change on to line U7 (direction of Rudow); change train at Fehrbelliner Platz on to line U1 (direction of Krumme Lanke), get off at Thielplatz (approx. 35 min. ride time)


Access to venue from train stations
from Bahnhof Wannsee:
Take bus 118, get off at U station Oskar-Helene-Heim, walking distance 5-10 min. (approx. 25 min. ride time)

from Bahnhof Zoo:
Take underground line U9 (direction of Rathaus Steglitz) to Spichernstraße and change on to line U1 (direction of Krumme Lanke), get off at Thielplatz (approx. 25 min. ride time);
